Foot pain can throw everything out of balance. Since our feet support our whole body and absorb impact with each step, any discomfort there can ripple through the rest of the body, affecting our posture, alignment, and even mood. Taking care of your feet can make a huge difference in overall well-being.
Here at Refine, we understand the important role our feet play to help keep us active and that is why we are delighted to announce the new addition of podiatry services to our clinic:

Put simply, biomechanics is the study of the bones, joints, ligaments and tendons of the body and how they all interact together to keep us moving.
A biomechanical assessment will involve a comprehensive evaluation of the lower limbs to determine how your body interacts with the ground and how efficiently your muscles, joints, and ligaments work together during movement. This assessment can reveal imbalances, weaknesses, or areas of excessive strain that might lead to pain or injury. By analyzing your posture, gait, and foot alignment, a biomechanical assessment helps pinpoint the root cause of issues, guiding treatment or corrective actions to improve mobility, reduce discomfort, and enhance overall function.
